2nd Quarter of a Century

Friday was an unfortunate day (well not really unless you read into the numbers).  As my dad put it, “Can’t believe you’re working on the 2nd quarter of a century now….hmmmm..”
Friday was my 26th birthday.  I don’t know where the last 10 years went, but I feel like I’m still only 16 (I think I only claim I’m 16 because I can legally still drive myself places J).  It still boggles my mind that my high school classmates are married and having kids—and I can’t imagine my life married or with kids right now in my life.  I am a very responsible (or I’d like to think I am) person—but I don’t think I’m ready to be responsible 24/7 for another person’s life.  Maybe my mindset will change once I get a ring on my finger (no hints).  I still can’t believe that many of our parents were already married with children (maybe us?) at this age.
I had nothing exciting planned for the day.  I started off with a 6am Pilates Reformers Class.  I am in LOVE with doing Pilates on the Reformers.  I wish it wasn’t so expensive, or I’d do it more often.  I’ll do a post on Pilates soon.
Since I LOVE my espresso drinks and a proud holder of the Starbucks Card—I got this pretty little baby in the mail…

I went and cashed it in this morning.  I decided to branch out and try something new (heck, if I didn’t like it—it was free).  I ended up getting a Quad Venti 2-Pump Cinnamon Dolce Latte with Soy No Whip.  Yes, I am one of THOSE Starbucks snobs who customizes their drink to the T.  But no worries, I’m not this person:

I didn’t think much of the Cinnamon Dolce Latte—nothing too special—I would have much preferred a Caramel Macchiato or a Toffee Nut Latte.
And onto the real reason this didn't get posted Friday (because I wanted to include photos of what the boy got me...and I had to wait until I got home to see what he got me!).  How cute is the Shari's Berries box?!

YUM!

    1. Thank you!! EEEK!! I think 31 is worse than 30...because then you're offically IN your 30s. Definitely live up your final day before you're IN your 30s (in my book!).

The berries were yummy! They made me wish I was eating chocolate fondue and was able to dip whatever I wanted in chocolate. YUM!

    1. Thank you!! I think I love Caramel Macchiato's because of all that yummy caramel drizzle on it. I came into work with an iced Caramel Macchiato this morning--SOOO good!

haha, yea--I kind of wish my dad didn't put it that way..made me feel old. I think it was his plan...so he didn't have to be reminded that he just turned 55!
