The Lean Green Bean posted about the Cookies for Kids Cancer program that is sponsored by OXO, Glad, and ULINE. Until December 31st, OXO is willing to match all proceeds raised up to $100,000.
I was wondering if you guys would be interested in or if you think it would be a good idea to host a Silent Auction Bake Sale for the Cookies for Kids Cancer program. I will need YOUR help in providing baked goods that will be auctioned off (and I will need you to volunteer the shipping funds) and spreading the word about this cause. I would want to host the bake sale on December 17th, so you have that Sunday to bake and are able to mail out the goodies on Monday morning.
If anyone has any tips or ideas on how to host a Silent Auction via blogger, please please please do share! The only way I can figure out how to do this is via a Google Doc form, which I would only be able to see the results.
So please please please, let me know if you would be interested in helping me out. I would like to have at least 10 items to auction off--which I'm okay with baking--but I would LOVE your help (especially if you are an amazing baker or have a killer recipe).
